About The Theory Test |
The Theory Test can be taken at many Theory Test Centres throughout the UK.

The Theory Test consists of 35 multiple choice questions from which you must
achieve at least 30 correct
answers. The test is conducted on a computer with a
touch sensitive screen and your result is given immediately
at the end of the
test.
The Hazard Perception Test consists of 14 video clips in which are 15 potential
hazards. The test measures the
time taken to spot these hazards and click
a mouse button.
You must present, at the time of test, your Provisional Licence and Photographic
Evidence of Identity. Failure to
do so will result in the test being cancelled
with the loss of your test fee. The test is based on the information
contained
in several sources.
